Huawei, a leading tech company, has officially announced its latest addition to the wearable devices lineup during a special event in Barcelona, Spain. The highlight of this collection is the Huawei Watch GT 4 smartwatch.
The Huawei Watch GT 4 comes in two elegant designs: a 41mm model with a Pendant Design and a 46mm model with an Octagonal Design.
The watch introduces the updated TruSeen 5.5+ technology, which incorporates new sensors and algorithms for more precise health monitoring.
The two models differ in battery life and appearance. Both models start at a price of 250 euros, with the larger model boasting a battery life of up to 14 days, while the smaller one lasts for 7 days.
Both models feature a 20 percent longer battery life compared to the previous version. The new series also comes with an enhanced version of the Always-On Display feature, displaying about 20 percent of visual elements.
The 46mm model sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen, while the 41mm model comes with a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen, both with a resolution of 466×466 pixels.
The TruSeen 5.5+ technology includes a Sleep Monitoring feature to track sleep cycles and improve sleep habits. It also monitors heart rate and blood oxygen levels during sleep.
The 3.0 Menstrual Cycle Management feature is an added benefit for women, allowing accurate recording and prediction of menstrual cycles.
For outdoor exercises, the dual and pentagonal GNSS technology provides precise tracking by 30 percent.
The watch can track over 100 types of sports, including e-sports. The Stay Fit feature accurately monitors calorie intake and provides performance information throughout the day.
The Huawei Watch GT 4 is compatible with both Android and IOS smartphones and integrates with apps like Strava, Komoot, Runtastic, and Petals Maps.
It can also display text messages and quick replies from instant messaging apps and social networks.
The Huawei Watch GT 4 will be available in the UK and Europe starting from October 4th. Pre-orders begin today in the Huawei store.
As for prices, the 46mm model starts at 250 euros, with options for a black or leather strap at 270 euros. The steel model is priced at 350 euros.
