Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has revealed the status of three of its players ahead of the highly anticipated match against Borussia Dortmund in the first round of the group stage of the UEFA Champions League for the current season, 2024.
The Parisian club issued an official statement stating, "Nuno Mendy was not present at the team's training center due to a minor infection... Marco Asensio continues his treatment protocol... and Presnel Kimpembe continues his rehabilitation work."
It is expected that the trio will be absent from tomorrow's match, marking the first European match for PSG this season.
The expected PSG lineup for the game is as follows:
Goalkeeper: Donnarumma.
Defense: Hakimi, Marquinhos, Skriniar, Hernandez.
Midfield: Zayed Emery, Ongartey, Verratti.
Attack: Dembele, Colou Moani, Mbappe.
Paris Saint-Germain currently sits in third place in the Ligue 1 standings with 8 points, trailing league leaders Monaco by two points.
