The Croatian national team delegation arrives in Cairo today, Thursday, in preparation for participating in the Capital Cup Championship, marking the arrival of the last delegations of the participating teams in the tournament, following the arrival of the Tunisian and New Zealand teams.
The Croatian national team will kick off its participation in the Capital Cup Championship with a match against its Tunisian counterpart, at ten o'clock in the evening after tomorrow, Saturday, at the Cairo International Stadium.
The Croatian national team roster includes, alongside Modric, players such as Mateo Kovacic and Josko Gvardiol, stars of Manchester City, Mario Pasalic, a star of Atalanta in Italy, Marcelo Brozovic, a star of Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, Ante Budimir, a star of Osasuna in Spain, and the veteran Ivan Perisic, a player for Hajduk Split and a former star of Bayern Munich and Inter Milan.
The friendly tournament in Cairo will be held between March 22-26, with the Egyptian national team facing its New Zealand counterpart, the Croatian national team facing its Tunisian counterpart, and the losers meeting in a match to determine the third-place holder before the winners face off in the final match.
