The United Arab Emirates topped the global "Speedtest" index for mobile internet speed, with an average mobile internet speed of 425.5 Mbps.
According to the "Speedtest" index, the UAE ranked first among Arab countries for mobile data transfer speeds.
The index also showed that Egypt ranked 93rd globally, with an average speed of 25 Mbps, placing it 11th among Arab countries.
Qatar ranked second globally and Arab-wise on the index, with an average mobile internet speed of 356.7 Mbps, followed by Kuwait in third place both globally and Arab-wise, with an average speed of 258.5 Mbps.
Saudi Arabia ranked fourth in the list of the fastest Arab countries for mobile internet services, with the Kingdom securing 11th place globally, with an average mobile internet speed of 121.9 Mbps.
According to the report, Bahrain ranked fifth among Arab countries and 13th globally, with an average mobile data transfer speed of 116.6 Mbps, followed by Oman in sixth place among Arab countries and 29th globally, with a mobile internet speed of 89.3 Mbps.
Morocco ranked seventh among Arab countries and 67th globally, with an average mobile internet speed of 42.5 Mbps, while Iraq ranked eighth with a speed of 34.7 Mbps, followed by Lebanon with an average speed of 30.8 Mbps. Tunisia rounded out the top 10 with an average speed of 26.16 Mbps.
