Arsenal Continues to Drop Points and Draws with Aston Villa in the Premier League

Arsenal continued their poor form in the current Premier League season as they settled for a disappointing draw against their opponent Aston Villa this evening.

The match was hosted at the "Emirates" stadium as part of the 22nd round of Premier League fixtures, with the teams drawing 2-2.

Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring for Arsenal in the 33rd minute of the first half, as goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez attempted to clear the ball but it had already crossed the goal line.

Arsenal doubled their lead over Aston Villa when Kai Havertz scored the second goal for the home side in the 55th minute, following a cross from Leandro Trossard.

Aston Villa did not give up, and Youri Tielemans pulled one back for the visitors in the 60th minute, scoring with a header that found the back of Arsenal's net.

In the 68th minute, the crazy scenario continued as Ollie Watkins scored the equalizer for Unai Emery's team, following a cross from Matty Cash.

Arsenal nearly grabbed a late winner in the 88th minute through Kai Havertz, but the goal was ruled out by VAR for a handball by an Arsenal player.

Seven minutes of stoppage time were added to the second half, but the score remained unchanged, ending the match 2-2.

With this result, both teams earned a point. Arsenal now has 44 points in second place, six points behind leaders Liverpool, while Aston Villa sits in seventh place with 36 points.
