Emery Rejects Watkins' Move to Arsenal

Unai Emery, the head coach of Aston Villa, has rejected the idea of his striker Ollie Watkins leaving for Arsenal after receiving an offer in recent times.

The Spanish coach was firm about Watkins' future, saying, "I don’t want him to leave. It’s good to have offers from other clubs, but we want to maintain our sporting goals with the players who are currently in the team."

He added, "Any player can be in the transfer market if it’s good for both the player and the club. To complete such a transfer, we would ask for a lot of money. Watkins is our striker."

Emery continued, "Our players attract the attention of other clubs, and they also bring us good money. But of course, our goal is to maintain our structure smartly, because we want to stay at the sporting level we are at now. Keeping it that way for a long time is the toughest challenge we face."
