German coach Jürgen Klopp, the former manager of Liverpool FC, spoke about the possibility of Egyptian international Omar Marmoush, the Eintracht Frankfurt star, moving to Manchester City during the current winter transfer window.
Klopp said in statements reported by Sky Sports: "I don’t know if Omar Marmoush will move to Manchester City or not during the current January transfer window."
He added: "Omar Marmoush is a great player with exceptional abilities, and Manchester City is a great club as well."
The Egyptian forward has excelled with Eintracht Frankfurt this season in the Bundesliga, attracting the attention of several major European clubs.
Marmoush has played 16 matches in the Bundesliga so far this season with Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring 14 goals and providing 7 assists.
The Egyptian international forward joined Eintracht Frankfurt during the summer transfer window of 2023 in a free transfer from VfL Wolfsburg.
It is worth mentioning that global reports have indicated that Manchester City is close to signing Marmoush during the current winter transfer window from Eintracht Frankfurt.
